Roles and Responsibilities

We're looking for someone who is a critical thinker, and loves working with data -- a methodical market researcher who is able to autonomously analyze qualitative data, trends, statistics, strategies, and competition to help us with our product development efforts.
If background in data analysis, product management, or user experience, OR are a generally curious person with an analytical bent of mind, we'd love to hear from you.
Your responsibilities would include:
  • - Collecting data on consumers, competitors and consolidating information into actionable items, reports, and presentations
  • - Understanding business objectives, designing hypothesis, and validate/invalidate assumptions
  • - Compiling and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data using modern and traditional data collection techniques
Responsibilities
  • - Collect data on consumers, competitors and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations
  • - Understand business objectives and design surveys, interviews to discover prospective/existing customers’ challenges and preferences
  • - Perform reliable market research SWOT analysis
  • - Interpret data, formulate reports, and make recommendations
  • - Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation
  • - Evaluate key data to ensure that releases are accurate and the angle is correct
  • - Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties researches and implement best practices


Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements
  • - A curious person who has a love for data gathering and analysis
  • - Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task
  • - Strong communication and presentation skills
  • - Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen
  • - Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc)
  • - Strong analytical and critical thinking
  • - Background in Product Management or User Experience will be a plus!
